National Shul Table Tennis League review

Sixty-five players from 13 synagogue teams competed in the first-ever National Shul Table Tennis League, sponsored by Maccabi GB, which took place on Sunday.

Sides from Kingston to Southend headed to BATTS in Harlow, Essex, fighting it out for the hotly contested 2012 event.

The management team for Table Tennis at the 2013 Maccabiah Games in Israel has been announced by Maccabi GB, in partnership with UJIA.

Lee Vandermolen has been appointed Sports Chair along with Dov Katz as the Team Manager.

Medals galore for Team GB

Team GB produced an astonishing record-breaking performance at the 13th European Maccabi Games in Vienna .

The 220-strong delegation won a mammoth 71 medals of which 31 were gold, 23 silver and 17 bronze.

The three-man swimming team of Trevor Pears, Hollie Singer and Naomi Ayrton claimed 19 medals between them.
