Double delight for Brady U13's

Brady Maccabi Reds under 13’s won the Watford Friendly League Yellow division title after a thrilling double header against Finchley Revolution.

The first game was won relatively easily with a 3-0 win with goals from Dan Gaby, Jamie Delane and an own goal.

A stunning hat-trick from BEN MURRELL saw Southgate Harmen finish the season on a high after hitting Faithfold B for six to register their eighth win of the season.

Further strikes from Sam Castle, Alex Bull and Josh Franklin ensured outgoing manager Dan Uzan received the perfect send-off.

Manchester Vets retain title

Manchester Maccabi claimed the MJSL Veterans Challenge Trophy after blowing away the opposition in rampant fashion.

In a three-team tournament, which also included Leeds Maccabi and Sedgley Park Celtic, Manchester won both its group games before easing to victory in the final.

After defeating both Leeds and Sedgley Park in the round robin, Manchester started the final as favourites.

Glenthorne United A ended Brady Maccabi's five-year dominance of the Maccabi Masters Football League title by securing the championship with a 2-0 win over Southgate Harmen.

Strikes from Danny Sugarman and Jason Levy sparked the celebrations for the east Londoners.

Division Two title hopefuls EDRS Stonegrove suffered another surprise defeat as they went down 2-1 against Hendon Harriers.

Los Blancos clinched promotion to Division One with, goalkeeper Josh Cohen marking his last game for the club with a goal from the penalty spot.

Further strikes from Joel Kutner, Benjy Israel and a double from player-manager Adam Hersh saw them pip SPEC FC to the runners-up spot.
