Fernandez: I want to stay

Luis Fernandez has said that he wants a two-year contract extension to lead Israel into the 2014 World Cup qualifiers.

The Maccabi Masters ended their seventh tour of Israel with a 1-1 draw against an Anglo-Israel XI.

Defeats in their first two games saw them go to Jerusalem with a point to prove.


Neasden edge past brave Bilbaum

Hendon United Sports Club A have made a clean sweep of my awards for October following a memorable month which has seen them climb to the top of the JC MSFL Premier Division.

Josh Lipman is my player of the month for October.

In a month where the Hammers have only conceded two goals, the Hammers defender has been absolutely outstanding, hardly putting a foot wrong.


Bor hails Fulda factor

David Bor believes the appointment of new boss Sydney Fulda has given Broughton’s players a new lease of life.

Fulda, who replaced Josh Bor at the helm last week, took charge of Broughton for the first time during Sunday’s agonising 2-1 defeat by South Manchester 2nd.

Two goals in the last 15 minutes gave South the points and condemned Broughton to an eight consecutive league defeat.
