Cole to step down at end of the season

His decision comes on the back of a disappointing season when the club failed to win silverware for the first time in several years.

Under Cole, Neasden have dominated Jewish football in recent times, completing an unprecedented hat-trick of league and national cup doubles.

Barnes makes Cockfosters pay the penalty

London Lions made it seven wins from their last nine games with another excellent away performance, beating Cockfosters 3-1.

Two Aron Barnes penalties and a single effort from David Soutar took Lions to 60 points and fifth place in the Molten Spartan South Midlands League Division One.

Leeds Maccabi fall to Pudsey

A depleted Leeds Maccabi fell to a 5-3 defeat to Pudsey Liberal Club in the Leeds Combination League.

Marcus Mann scored directly from a corner to put Ian Selwyn's side ahead at half time, but a bizarre 10-minute spell at the start of the second half saw Pudsey go 3-1 ahead.

David Woolman pulled a goal back before Pudsey restored their two-goal advantage.

Raiders B clinch Division One title

North London Raiders B celebrated winning the JC MSFL Division One title with an emphatic win over promotion-chasing Brady.

The goals came from an unlikely source as centre back Rick Sherman scored twice from corners, including his team’s decisive third midway through the second half.
