New season will test Redbridge

Haifa to face Bosnians in Champions League

Maccabi Haifa have been drawn against Bosnian champions FK Borac Banja Luka in the Champions League qualifers.

The Greens must come through three qualifying rounds as they look to make the group stage for the second time in three years.

In season 2009/10, Haifa became the first team to go through the groups phase without scoring a goal or taking a point.

Haifa hero on the way

Tomer Hemed is close to agreeing terms with Rangers. The Maccabi Haifa striker, 24, is reportedly being offered a three-year contract at Ibrox worth between £7,000 to £8,000 a week.
