A superb late winner from Daniel Lassman helped high-flying Glenthorne maintain their perfect record this season following a five-goal thriller at Norsemen FC.

Thornes player-manager Craig Sandford had put his team in front with a neat finish before Yonni Bord levelled things up.

Haroldeans maintained their 100 per cent record with a convincing 4-1 victory over Republic 1st.

An entertaining game saw Republic start the better. They forged ahead in the 20th minute through a Mike Gastwirth strike.

A tight game between Republic and Hyde was settled by Daniel Klapisch scoring from a rebound after missing a penalty.

A thrilling contest featured two teams wanting to attack and it deserved more than a solitary goal.

Double delight as Nyman lifts Lions

Two goals from Dean Nyman plus one from Matt Stock helped the Lions win a five-goal thriller against Cranfield United at Broxbourne Borough FC.

The score line suggests the game was much closer but in truth had Lions been more clinical in front of goal, they would have been out of sight by half-time.

Gee’s men, who face Republic of Mancunia 1st on Sunday, have won all four of their league games so far this season and sit top of the table following last week’s 3-1 win over Oakhill.
