Levy suffers broken leg

AC Mill Hill's match against L'Equipe was abandoned after player-manager Joe Levy suffered a broken leg.

Referee Neal Cohen stopped the match after 75 minutes when the injury occured, with the home side were leading 2-1.

A Mill Hill spokesman told JC Sport: "It has been confirmed that Joe has broken his tibia and fibula. He is staying in hospital tonight and will have operation tomorrow.

North West London Jets (NWLJ) under-13s remain undefeated in the Excel Academy League following their 4-1 victory over HMH TA.

HMH TA dominated the first half and deservedly opened the scoring after a corner was whipped in and scrambled over the line.

Republic of Flixton showed they mean business in this year’s Peter Morrison Trophy after dumping out MSFL side Chigwell Athletic in the National Round.

The MJSL league leaders were too hot to handle for the MSFL Division One side and moved through to the quarter-finals with a 2-0 win courtesy of goals from Saul Shapiro and Rob Jacobs.
