Tributes to Peter Moss

Tributes have been flooding in for FC Team coach Peter Moss who died in the Marrakesh cafe blast on Thursday.

Moss (pictured back row, second from right), 59 and from London, was one of 15 people who was killed by an activated remote bomb at Djemma el-Fna square in the city's old quarter.

Two more years for Chelsea's wonder kid

Chelsea have extended the contract of Sam Monjack by two more years.

Monjack, 14, joined the club seven years ago. A pupil at Immanuel College, he trains at the club's academy in Cobham five times a week. He said: "When I joined, I did not think I would still be here at 16.

We deserve to go up, says Brady manager

Josh Hershman (2), Steve Field and Josh Gordon were the goal men as Brady Maccabi claimed third spot in Division One with a 4-0 victory over Oakwood.

Brady boss Josh Rosenfeld said: "We hope the league management committee is consistent and rewards the boys with Premiership football next year. We deserve the chance."

Manchester Maccabi 3rd were crowned champions of the Joan Collins Premier Division on Wednesday night when they thumped Westdene 1st 8-2 at Brooklands.

Victory ensured that they finished the season a point ahead of long-time leaders Republic of Mancunia.

Redbridge sorry for fan abuse

Redbridge Jewish Care boss Sam McCarthy has apologised to Hendon goalkeeper Russell Corin following the verbal abuse he received at the Cyril Anekstein Cup final.

Redbridge fans behind the goal, chanted cruel jibes about Corin's weight throughout a match that saw Redbridge complete the double.

Cohen gets a card - now he wants a contract

Tamir Cohen hopes his 90th-minute winner against Arsenal will earn him a new contract at Bolton Wanderers.

The goal gave him the chance to pay tribute to his late father, Avi, who was killed in a motorcycle accident in Israel.

He revealed that he had been wearing a T-shirt with his father's portrait since returning to England after his death in December.

Cohen dedicates goal to father

Tamir Cohen dedicated his last-minute winner against Arsenal to father Avi Cohen, who died in a motorcycle accident late last year.

The Israeli midfielder broke down in tears as he wheeled away in delight, ripping off his Bolton shirt to display a T-shirt with a picture of his dad on it, for which he was booked.
