South Manchester dominate JC Northern Football awards

South Manchester Sports Club 1st dominated the JC Northern Football Awards as manager Darryl Lee and striker Adam Lavin scooped the top prizes.

South Manchester boss Lee was named JC Northern Manager of the Year after leading his side to a league and cup double and his side was also hailed as JC Northern Team of the Season.

JC MJSL Team of the Year 2012

Haroldeans trio Paul Harris, Zach Goodman and Bobby Abrams were all included in the JC MJSL Team of the Year after helping their side win the league title.

They are joined by Manchester Maccabi duo Josh Samberg and Jake Kelly as well as Hyde Park’s Oli Grant.

Hendon the greatest? Not by a long shot, says Cole

Jamie Cole has rejected the claims of Hendon United manager David Garbacz that this season’s treble winners are the greatest MSFL team of all time.

Cole, the former manager of North West Neasden, this week responded to comments made by Garbacz and he believes the statement was disrespectful to successful Maccabi teams of the past.
