Here are the nominations for the Northern Team of the Year.

The list was compiled following conversations with team managers and a number of players over the past couple of weeks.

There are also a number of separate individual categories for which players have been nominated.

WATFORD FRIENDLY LEAGUE UNDER NINE LEAGUE CUP FINAL
Aldenham Juniors 4 Alexandra Park North 4
AET (Aldenham won 3-2 on penalties)

Aldenham Juniors won the Watford Friendly League Under Nine League Cup final after beating Alexandra Park North on penalties.

Aldenham led in normal time but Alexandra Park fought back twice to level at 4-4 at after extra time.

Triumphant Jets win Excel League Cup

EXCEL LEAGUE UNDER 12 CUP FINAL
North West London Jets 3 HISHU 1

North West London Jets came from behind to beat HISHU 3-1 in the Excel under 12's League Cup final.

HISHU got the cup final underway and were immediately looking to open the scoring. However, the Jets were prepared to soak up pressure and kept HISHU chances to a minimum with fantastic defensive displays.

Glenthorne B close in on Masters title

MASTERS Glenthorne United B edged a step closer to the Maccabi Masters League Division Two title with a 2-1 win over EDRS Stonegrove

A late free-kick from Adam Hart proved decisive in a game where they had forged ahead through an own goal. Mark Kingston equalised for EDRS.

The result means Glenthorne now require two points from their remaining two games to be assured of the championship.

WATFORD FRIENDLY LEAGUE UNDER 18 LEAGUE CUP FINAL
London Maccabi Lions 2 Limassol 0

London Maccabi Lions won their first piece of silverware of the season with a 2-0 victory over Limassol at Harvester FC.

Strikes from Josh Bloom and Benji Weinberger saw the boys from Rowley Lane run out deserved winners with victory in the Watford Friendly League Under 18 League Cup final.
