Altman loaned out to Maccabi

Omri Altman, 19, has agreed a one-year loan deal with Israeli champions Maccabi Tel Aviv.

The Israel under-21 star recently signed a two-year contract extension at Fulham who believe the deal with his former club will give the player some valuable first-team experience.

"This is an amazing lad that will go as far as possible,’ said his agent, Gilad Katsav.

Doncaster in for Furman

Dean Furman looks set to complete a move to Championship new boys Doncaster Rovers next week.

The South Africa midfielder was on loan at Rovers for six weeks at the end of last season, culminating in a final day thriller against Brentford which they won to clinch the League One title.

Five-star GB tear Cheshunt apart

Team GB warmed up for the Open Football competition at the 19th Maccabiah Games with a 5-2 victory over Cheshunt FC in a friendly.

David Pollock’s troops came from a goal down to run out worthy winners. A Jordan Marks strike was sandwiched in between two Cheshunt goals, but GB then stepped up a gear, with Adam Bolle making it 2-2 after good work from James Gershfield.

Plans for season 2013/14 unveiled

The MSFL will feature 41 teams playing across four divisions for season 2013/14, it has been confirmed.

Four new teams - AC Whetstone, Jewdinese, North London Raiders C and King Crown - have joined the league, with the Premier Division, Division One and Division Three containing 10 teams and Division Two 11.

Smith replaces Nitka at Brixton

Scott Smith has taken charge of Brixton Old Boys following the departure of John Nitka who has decided to return to refereeing duties.

Over the last three seasons, Nitka guided the team to successive promotions, alongside several extended cup runs.

A club statement read: "We would like to thank John for his efforts and wish him well over the future."

Salmon lifts FC Team to Macc 5's success

A hat-trick from Richard Salmon helped FC Team finish the season with silverware after winning the Macc 5’s five-a-side tournament.

On a day when 100 teams made up players ranging from under seven through to the Masters competed, Jonny Breger helped FC Team win the Adults group title with a 4-1 victory in the final.
