Kyte lifts London Lions into sixth in the HSCL

A solitary effort from Max Kyte was enough to give London Lions maximum points at Hinton and move up to sixth in the table.

League titles are won by gutsy performance like that of defending champions North London Raiders.

A deadly double from Oscar Wagner helped Raiders open an eight-point gap at the top of the table as they beat FC Team for the second time in a week.

David Dinkin and Nyv Bogaire sealed the win.

Oakhill have the edge in MJSL title race, says Rabinowitz

Daniel Rabinowitz insists the MJSL title is now Oakhill Lions’ to lose.

The students opened a five-point gap at the summit following their 2-0 win in the top-of-the-table showdown against Leeds Maccabi.

Oakhill faced an uphill battle moments after the break once Jake Kelly was red carded for lashing out in retaliation to a late tackle.

Sunday was about as good as it gets in terms of a tactical master plan coming to fruition. Five goals, a clean sheet and thumping national cup holders Hendon United in their own back yard was as convincing as it sounds.

The look on Ric Blank and Dan Kristall’s faces when they lined up for their post-match interview was one of disbelief — it was as though they’d won the lottery.

LEEDS MACCABI cruised into the Shonn Trophy semi-finals following a five-star display against Heaton Park Rovers.

Rob Selwyn bagged a hat-trick and Nick Vale’s brace was enough to see the Yorkshiremen through.

HPR were always up against it and clinical finishing saw them trail 3-0 at the break.
