Matchday 37 weekend preview

Double delight for AFC Flixton

Stuart Delmonte claimed AFC Flixton’s double-winning season had surpassed the club’s wildest dreams.

AFC Flixton followed up their promotion as Division Two champions to lift the King’s Cup.

The 2-1 win over Deloitte – thanks to goals from Steven Peck and an extra-time winner - via Rafi Leeker over Deloitte capped a fine season.

LML U12's win in Brussels

The London Maccabi Lions under-12 B-squad sent two teams to a tournament in Brussels organised and hosted by Maccabi Brussels.

Before the knock-out stages, one of the Lions teams was drawn in the group of death and achieved a very creditable fifth place out of 10 overall in the tournament via the play-offs.

LML U14's clinch WFL U14 title

May 19, 2014

London Maccabi Lions under-14's capped a memorable season by winning the Watford Friendly League White Division.

Managed by Mark Rose and Darryl Lazarus, LML were the model of consistency, claiming 15 wins, two draws and one defeat from their 18-game league season. They scored 75 goals and conceded 14 times, finishing with the top two scorers in the division.

The former Wales under-21 star was named Supporters’ Player of the Season, but he was released by new manager

Micky Mellon after the team was relegated to League 2, despite a late flurry of goals from the left-back.

Jacobson said: "It's a blow and to be honest, I was a little surprised by the decision.
