MARKYATE 5 MACCABI LONDON LIONS B 4

Maccabi London Lions B tumbled out of the Herts Intermediate Cup after succumbing in a nine-goal thriller against Markyate.

The pitch, reminiscent of a bog, was not what Lions are used to playing on. The wind and the rain certainly didn’t help either in this Hertfordshire Cup fixture.

Andy Landesberg insists London Lions only have themselves to blame after they bowed out of the Aubrey Cup following a 3-1 defeat against Hadley Wood and Wingate.
