TEMPLE FORTUNE A 3 BOCA JEWNIORS 1

A makeshift Temple Fortune A had too much for Division Three strugglers Boca at the Hive, with two goals from Shai Davidi key to the outcome.

Missing several players through injury and unavailability, Davidi, who was excellent throughout, scored two well-taken goals, with Kane Gilbery finishing the job.

Alex Gilbert - experienced defender was calmness personified in the storm of some determined wing-play. Revelled in the limelight with Motti Colman back in Israel. Never lets anyone down. 7/10

Peter Morrison Trophy final postponed

This season's Peter Morrison Trophy final was postponed due to torrential rain that left the pitch at the Harry Abrahams Stadium at Wingate & Finchley FC unplayable.

Referee Warwick Blake and Maccabi GB National Football committee chairman Laurence Thorne were pitchside around 8.30am - two hours before kick-off - for the pitch inspection.
