Mark Miller secured his place on a DVD of goalkeeping bloopers after his shocking mistake cost Leeds Maccabi 1st a place in the quarter-finals of the Peter Morrison Trophy.

Keeper Miller inexplicably carried Brad Wine's harmless effort over the goal line to leave both sets of players in disbelief.

Cup holders Manchester Maccabi 1st edged past Premier Division new boys North London Raiders B 2-1 in a tie where all the goals came late in the second half.

The visitors forged ahead through Jay McGavery after 65 minutes following an error from Raiders keeper David Simnock.

Strikes from Jay Rosenthal and Oli Grant took MJSL outfit Hyde Park Rovers into the last eight as they edged past third division Shirley to victory in a well-contested tie at Gladstone Park.

Shirley's goal came through Gideon Gold with a stunning long-range volley.

Revenge is sweet for Neasden A

Former cup winners Neasden A powered past Lions A at Rowley Lane, exacting revenge on the team who beat them 6-5 in the league last week.

But they did it the hard way after keeper Max Shields was sent off for stamping on Lions joint-player-manager Josh Newman early in the game.

Brady kept alive their hopes of a cup double with a hard fought win over first division Temple Fortune A at the Hive, courtesy of two headers from star man Paul Hakim.

The hosts scored twice in the last 25 minutes with a solitary effort from Jon Fisher proving too little, too late for Fortune.

First division Chigwell boosted their double hopes with an impressive win over FC Team A at Meadow Park.

Strikes from Daniel Castle, Jon Swead, Paul Lenchner and Neil Tilley took them through.

Castle put the visitors in front after just three minutes with a header from a Craig Pearl free kick.

Cup holders Manchester Maccabi 1st will travel to North London Raiders B, while there are two massive all-JC MSFL ties including Hendon A against Redbridge A, in a re-run of last seasons' JC Cyril Anekstein Cup final, and Lions A versus Neasden A. The other three northern teams will all travel to London, with Hyde Park Rovers taking on competition outsiders Shirley Park of Division Three.

Stuart Delmonte and Tony Rosenberg’s men will travel to Brunel for the clash on January 29 to face a Raiders B side, who saw off Faithfold A to clinch their place in the last 16.

Lightning struck twice at Brunel as having recently beaten them 2-1 in the JC MSFL Premier Division, North London Raiders B moved into the last 16 of the Jewish FA Cup with a memorable victory over former winners Faithfold A.
