David Garbacz hailed summer signing Dovi Fehler as his double helped Hendon start where they left off as they overpowered the Lions at Rowley Lane.

Player of the Season Ari Last and Greg Corin put the icing on the cake.

Peter Morrison Trophy round 1 draw

The draw for the first round of the Maccabi GB Peter Morrison Trophy was made last night, with Division Two favourites FC Team B drawn at home to first division SPEC FC in one of the ties of the round. Two teams from the Manchester Jewish Soccer League have entered, along with two from the Maccabi Masters League.

MGBSFL Matchday 1 preview

The 39-team MGBSFL gets under way on Sunday, with 24 sides in action on Matchday One, with defending champions Hendon open their account at Rowley Lane – where they sealed the title last season, while newly-promoted Neasden and Woodford are also in action in the Premier. New boys London Rovers and Shacharit Donetsk make their bow in Division Three.
