Hendon boss Garbacz hits back

The football season may be over but the war of words between two of the JC MSFL’s most prominent figures shows no signs of ending.

Last week, Jamie Cole, the former manager of North West Neasden, played down the claims of Hendon boss David Garbacz who described his treble winning team as “greatest” that the MSFL has ever seen.

Lions sign hot-shot Pearson

London Maccabi Lions A joint-manager Josh Newman has confirmed that striker Michael Pearson will be returning to the club next season.

Pearson was the Premier Division’s top-scorer with 15 goals for Faithfold but the former JC MSFL Player of the Year will return to Rowley Lane to join the club who recently finished league runners-up.

Tributes to treble winners Hendon United

Managers from the Premier Division give their verdict on treble winners and JC MSFL champions Hendon United Sports Club A.

“Hendon were the strongest, toughest and most organised team in the league. They are big, powerful, well-drilled and tough to break down. They are hard-working and never give up. However, the best side we came up against was definitely Redbridge.”

Hendon the greatest? Not by a long shot, says Cole

Jamie Cole has rejected the claims of Hendon United manager David Garbacz that this season’s treble winners are the greatest MSFL team of all time.

Cole, the former manager of North West Neasden, this week responded to comments made by Garbacz and he believes the statement was disrespectful to successful Maccabi teams of the past.
