Five-star Team makes Cats pay

Premier Division class told as FC Team A ran in five goals against the Cats.

The Cats started well and pinned Team back for a good 10 minutes, with Jamie Sinai hitting the bar with a chipped effort.

Team opened the scoring from a free-kick after the Catford keeper picked up a backpass.

Raiders C are Bloom-ing marvellous

NORSTAR LONDON RAIDERS C 3 L'EQUIPE 1

A deadly double from Josh Bloom steered Raiders C into round two at the expense of Division Two rivals L'Equipe.

L'Equipe dominated the first half and deservedly took the lead after a great cross and then finish by Rob Simons.

Faithfold handed defending champions Hendon their first defeat in over a year, while Norstar London Raiders A destroyed Premier Division rivals Redbridge A in the opening round of the Anekstein Cup. STEVE SUMMERS (Redbridge A) - rolled his marker, bought himself a yard, and having spotted the keeper off his line, chipped him from 25 yards‎, floating it into the top corner of the net. Keeper stood no chance. Exquisite. Haven't seen him score many better!

Nathan Sollosi helped the Redbridge B university brigade sign off in style as they registered a 2-1 win at Camden.

In what was an emotionally charged day for Redbridge boss Jon Jacobs, his wonder kids delivered a perfect way to finish their first and last game of the season.
