Gothold has made some astute dealings in the transfer window and they should feature strongly in the goals column.

There is already title talk on the terraces at RC UK FC, with boss Avi Markiewicz equipped with several players from former Division Two champions London Rovers.

We’re bringing a lot of talent and experience to the division,” Markiewicz told JC Sport.

Jake Lewis captains the team in which Dudi Edreyi Gideon Caller Jonti Aremband are the “ones to watch”.

Garbacz makes dramatic U-turn at Hendon United

With just four days until of the new MGBSL season, David Garbacz has made a dramatic U-turn on his decision to retire from management and he has confirmed that he will lead Hendon United Sports Club A for one final term.

Garbacz left the club in a blaze of glory in May after guiding the Reds to the Peter Morrison Trophy for a third consecutive year.

Raiders to start title defence against Redbridge Jewish Care

North London Raiders A will start their title defence at home to Redbridge Jewish Care A in the opening weekend of the new MGBSFL season.

L'Orange retained the Premier Division crown last season after securing 12 wins in 16 matches, as well as winning the Cyril Anekstein Cup for a second consecutive double.

Important new law changes for the new season

We are now almost at the start of the 2016-2017 season and I am sure everyone is anxious and raring to go.

I am pleased to say that numbers are steady and I welcome four new teams into the competition. We now have 33 in membership with 10 in the Premier Division, 11 in the First and 12 in the Second.

The Peter Morrison Trophy will revert to its original format for season 2016/17, the National Maccabi Football Committee have confirmed.

There were mixed feelings about the decision to make the competition, nicknamed The Jewish FA Cup, national from the first round.
