Two goals from Tony Plaskow lifted North London Raiders to a point of top spot as they won a seven-goal thriller against Scrabble.

Further strikes from Kevin Lotzof and new boy Virgil Levy sealed the win as NLR climbed above Scrabble.

Charles Bernstein, Jeremy Teacher and Stefan Simons registered for Scrabble.

Maccabi Masters review: November 3

Southgate Harmen extended their lead at the top of the Maccabi Masters League Division One table with a convincing 4-0 win over Waldaf Town.

Strikes from Alex Bourne (2), Lloyd Becker and Daniel Hodes sent the Southgate boys three points clear.

In Division Two, there were big wins for the top four teams, with two of the leading title contenders reaching double figures.

Southgate Harmen finished the weekend top of the table after beating Brady Maccabi A 4-2.

Toby Lustigman, Glenn Davis and James Temple(2) earned Harmen their fourth win of the season.

Brady's goals came through a penalty from Paul Allen and a goal from Nick Collins.

Lloyd Becker registered for Harmen from the penalty spot.

Glenthorne United A resumed their position at the top of the Division Two table with a 9-0 drubbing of Marshside.

Scrabble maintained their excellent early-season form with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Southgate Harmen in the Maccabi Masters League.

A solitary effort from Lee Dicker lifted them to the top of the Division One table.

A double from Richard Davis inspired Waldaf Town to a 5-3 win over Brady Maccabi A. Further strikes from Hezi Yechiel, James Kaye and Marc Cutler sealed the win.

Strikes from Rob Cohen and Andy Bloom helped North London Raiders move to the top of the Maccabi Masters League Division One following a 2-1 victory over Scrabble.

Southgate Harmen registered an impressive 4-2 victory over former league winners Brady Maccabi A, with goals from Paul Gold (2), Lloyd Becker and Alex Bourne. Brady’s goals came through Adam Gishen and Scott Ansher.

Jeremy Leigh scored for the second consecutive week as Waldaf Town drew 2-2 against early pace-setters Scrabble in Division One of the Maccabi Masters Football League.

Scrabble raced into a two-goal lead but Waldaf showed great character to level, with James Kaye ensuring the points were shared with a 20-yard thunderbolt.

A hat-trick from Matt Lunn earned a new-look Scrabble one of the results of the day on the opening weekend of the Maccabi Masters League season.

The Scrabble boys overpowered Southgate Harmen 5-0, with Stefan Simons and Jonny Summerfield putting the icing on the cake.

Masters champions Glenthorne A fold

Glenthorne United A have withdrawn from the Maccabi Masters League due to a shortage of players.

Joint-manager Adam Kaye confirmed this week that the east London team will not defend the title they won in May.

"We just don’t have enough players,” said Kaye, who helped Team GB Masters win bronze at the Maccabiah Games last month.
