England can be the real deal, says Colman

Motti Colman believes the addition of Josh Lipman and Yishai Last can help take his England FC squad to the next level at the forthcoming Olim World Cup.

A former MGBSFL Player of the Year, Lipman is the latest player from Hendon United Sports Club to make Aliyah and Colman is confident his winning mentality can rub off on his teammates in the 24-team event.

Motti Colman has selected a number of young players for the forthcoming Olim Five-a-side World Cup.

Under Colman, England will be looking to improve on their performance that saw them reach the last 16 at the competition last year.

This year's event will be held in Tel Aviv in June and will feature 24 countries from around the world.

Zemer named Olim Player of the Year

Aviv Zemer is this season's Olim League Player of the Year.

The MS Bambi hotshot was voted no. 1 ahead of runner-up Ra'anana marksman Aviad Ben-Meir and Jerusalem goalkeeper Daniel Boerstra.

Bambi boss Yoni Sarig won the Manager of the Year accolade, ahead of Modi'in duo Jamie Lazarus David Bruce, with David Preston and Danny Newman of Jerusalem in third place.

A deadly double from Motti Colman inspired England FC to a hard-fought victory over Ashdod in a feisty affair.

A 3-1 win helped England leapfrog their rivals who were initially on the back-foot against their French opposition.

England keeper Roy Meron was the star man early on, producing a number of top saves to keep the game scoreless.
