It was an emotional day for North London Raiders A and Norstar on Matchday 35 of the JC MSFL season, while Blizzard Storm claimed a vital win in Division Two and the Division Three season drew to a close with Faithfold C beating Loughton Orient. Danny Caro looks back on all the action.

Norstar and Raiders to merge

Two leading MSFL clubs agreed to a merger this week in a bid to bring success to their loyal fans.

Norstar and North London Raiders – fierce rivals in previous seasons – will now compete as Norstar London Raiders under the Chairmanship of Jonny Adelman.

End of the road for UJIA

The JC MSFL has lost a second team after it was confirmed that UJIA has withdrawn from the league.

The U's have struggled in season 2012/13, claiming just one win out of 20 matches in Division One this season, and they follow Jewventus who dropped out of the Maccabi League a couple of months ago.
