Reviewing England's World Cup campaign, the FA's Director of Football Development has been quick to call for more English faces to rise through the ranks. And at 31, Stone fits the bill.

Recently appointed coach at League 2 Barnet, Stone, one of the most highly rated trainers in the country, has been charged with extra responsibility for individual player development.

The MSFL Rep Team's recent London Inter-Cup success has been wiped from the record books after they were found guilty of fielding ineligible players in the final and ordered to return the trophy.

As revealed on May 21, MSFL chairman David Wolff reported the Rep team after Sam Sloma and Aron Barnes played in the 3-2 victory. Prior to the decision, the MSFL management committee dismissed Jamie Cole as Rep team manager.

A stunning second half free-kick from Jake Gottlieb helped North West Neasden A retain the JC MSFL Premier Division title for the third consecutive season as they drew 1-1 against London Maccabi Lions A in a title at Rowley Lane on Wednesday night.

Both teams were missing key men. Lions were without Motti Colman and Ricky Kennet, while for Neasden, Daniel Cole was in New York.

It was the Lions who made the better start, pressing Neasden back into their half. Sam Arghebant had the first chance but fired wide.

Two goals from Neasden striker Lee Cash plus one from South Manx's Paul Babai steered the JC MSFL Rep Team to only their second ever victory in the London Inter-League Cup following a five-goal thriller against the London & Kent Borders League at Brimsdown Rovers FC.

Having won their two round robin group games, Maccabi completed the job with a squad that included captain Alex Levack, Paul Lenchner and Lee Cash - the only remaining players from the first successful Maccabi side who beat the same opposition under Tony Gold five years ago.
