A solitary effort from Craig Sandford helped Glenthorne B edge a very tough game against a very organised Blizzard Storm team.

Blizzard dominated much of the first half but could not capitalise as the Glenthorne defence was rock solid for the second week in a row.

JC MSFL Division One
Oakwood 3 Chigwell Athletic 1
Strikes from Jonny Beilin, Eddie Manson and Brad Wine steered the Oaks to maximum points in their opener against one of their title rivals.

Game of the day in Division One saw two of the title favourites go head to head when Oakwood entertained Chigwell at Parmiters.

There are some more big games in store on Week 2 of the season with Oakwood and Chigwell Athletic among the teams in action for the first time. There are also three derbies with North London Raiders A playing North London Raiders B, Faithfold B against Faithfold C and Redbridge C against Glenthorne A.
