New signings, training and trials for 2013/14

No sooner had season 2012/13 ended than have some clubs turned their attentions to the new campaign. Over the next couple of months, Danny Caro will be running his eye over dealings in the summer transfer window and featuring news on trials and training sessions for clubs up and down the land.

Josh Lewis and Daniel Cordell will lead L’Equipe FC in the 2013/14 season, the club has announced.

Both players have featured prominently for the club over the past six seasons and have been rewarded with two-year contracts.

Omri’s an example to us all

In a week when hundreds of young Jewish footballers up and down the country are having trials for new clubs, it’s quite fitting that Omri Altman has been given the nod by Fulham.

Sadly, some of these boys will be told they haven’t made the grade and/or are not good enough. In essence, thanks, but no thanks.

Hyams the hero for Blizzard Storm

A hat-trick from GARY HYAMS saw Blizzard Storm stunned third place finishers SPEC FC in a six-goal thriller at Rowley Lane.

Dan Simons maintained his excellent run of form with his fourth goal in two games to seal the win.

SPEC FC's goals came through James Segal and Marc Hecht.

Castle and Alterman take over at Harmen

Southgate Harmen FC has appointed Sam Castle and Joel Alterman as their new management team following Dan Uzan's retirement.

Uzan stepped down last week after five years in the role.

A club statement said: "Sam and Joel aim to take the club forward next season to promotion contention by using a hard core of committed boys from last season, together with an influx of new talent.
