All-rounder Mark Landau is MAL’s Player of the Year.

Landau enjoyed a stellar season, registering 992 runs at an average of 55.11 with the bat. He also claimed 16 wickets at 15.13.

Having won the toss, MAL skipper Gav Lebens chose to bat first. The Old Parkonians opening bowlers started well, bowling good lines and lengths, and guest Ben Lederman was quickly dismissed, bowled by Ibrahim for 0.

Maccabi cricket cup final preview

Belmont & Edgware will be looking to go one better when they take on MAL in the final of the Maccabi Knockout Cup on Sunday.

Captained by Warren Averbuch, BECC were beaten by London Maccabi Vale in last year’s final. but having recently clinched promotion from the Middlesex Sunday League Division Three, Averbuch is confident his big guns will fire at London Colney CC.
