Colman shows his class

ENGLAND FC 3 ASHDOD 1

A deadly double from Motti Colman inspired England FC to a hard-fought victory over Ashdod in a feisty affair.

A 3-1 win helped England leapfrog their rivals who were initially on the back-foot against their French opposition.

England keeper Roy Meron was the star man early on, producing a number of top saves to keep the game scoreless.

Moishe Lewis was the two-goal hero as Jerusalem ended Bambi's double hopes with a thrilling 3-2 victory.

On the back of their 5-1 win last week - which all but sealed their first league title - Bambi came into this game in the knowledge that they were just two games away from the first ever Olim League and Cup double.

Maccabi teams ready for new challenge

Organisers of the MGBSFL and Maccabi Masters League have set up an Invitational Competition in order to extend the season for eight teams.

The new tournament has been put together by David Wolff and Stuart Lustigman for sides that have either finished their season or have just a few matches remaining.

Green named as Team Maccabi GB golf chair

Ben Green has been named Chair for Team Maccabi GB Golf for the European Maccabi Games 2015 in Berlin.

Green has become synonymous with Jewish golf, having represented Great Britain from a young age at the JCC Maccabi Games in 1998 and 2001, where he won a bronze medal, all the way up to the Maccabiah Games.
