MSFL giants to meet in Cyril Anekstein Cup final

Redbridge Jewish Care A and Hendon United Sports Club A will contest this season's JC Cyril Anekstein Cup after winning their respective semi-finals.

An extra time strike from Maccabiah star David Souter helped JC MSFL Premier Division leaders Redbridge reach their first final.

Israel booked their place in the the Davis Cup World Group Playoffs after clinching an unassailable 3-0 lead over Poland at Ramat Hasharon.

The hosts got off to a flying start when Dudi Sela eased past Marcin Gawron in straight sets - 6-1, 6-3, 6-4.

The Saracens hooker came off the bench when Nathan Morris took a punch in the face from flanker Lorenzo Favaro.

Playing his first game following injuries in October, Spurling said: "It was an amazing experience. I was happy with my performance and fitness."
