Benayoun: I need more matches

Israel captain Yossi Benayoun says that he has no idea where he will be playing next season.Benayoun, 31, starred in only his third Premier League start of the season as Arsenal came from two goals down to beat Spurs 5-2 in last weekend's north London derby. But he believes that his future lies away from the Emirates after his one-year loan deal from Chelsea ends.

Guttman's Israel defeated in debut match

Israel were beaten 3-2 by the Ukraine in manager Eli Guttman's first match of the national team in in Petah Tikva.

Drawn in a tough group for the 2014 World Cup campaign, which gets under way in September, Guttman would have been disappointed with some defensive frailties in a match Israel always trailed.

Lord Kestenbaum appointed Team GB 2013 Maccabiah President

Lord Kestenbaum has been appointed President of Team Maccabi GB for next summer's Maccabiah Games.

With 17 months until the 'Jewish Olympics', Maccabi GB, in partnership with UJIA, have installed Lord Kestenbaum, who has previously served on the Boards of the JCC, of London Maccabi and of Finchley Synagogue.
