AC WHETSTONE 1 NORSTAR LONDON RAIDERS C 2

Zack Gothelf described AC Whetstone as "a credit to Jewish football" after two wonder strikes inspired Raiders C to a hard-earned victory.

Both NLR goals were of the top top draw, with one fan commenting "they wouldn't look out of place on Match of the Day".

HPR have all but given up the ghost in the league with runaway leaders Leeds Maccabi on the verge of lifting the title.

But player-coach David Seligman is eying cup glory in the run-in following this 5-2 triumph over Oakhill Lions.

Gilbert steers Leeds past Haroldeans

Dov Gilbert and Johnny Goldstone maintained Leeds Maccabi’s treble bid after seeing off Haroldeans in the Shonn Trophy.

Now they will turn to sealing the first-leg of their trophy hunt and they hope to lift the MJSL title on Sunday.

A win over Oakhill Lions will be enough for the Yorkshire side to clinch the championship.

AFC FLIXTON 5 PWC 1

Leor Sidle led the way as Accounts Premier League table-toppers AFC Flixton returned to winning ways with a 5-1 thumping of PWC.

Flixton slumped to a shock loss against Mace in the league last time out. But there was never a chance of that happening again here.

LONDON ROVERS 3 FAITHFOLD B 1

Jeremy Brown was a proud man after watching his London Rovers team clinch the MGBSFL Division Three title following an exhilarating comeback against Faithfold B at West Hendon Playing Fields.

Two-goal hero Josh Bharier was in scintillating form as the MGBSFL new boys cemented the title with three games to spare.
