Early on it appeared that one goal could settle a match in which both teams started with caution, however England B started to get into their groove and broke the deadlock after 25 minutes.

The Sky Blues took a break from their league campaign to face Omonia White in the first of three games in Group A. The team that top the group going through to the next round proper.
