The long list of injuries once again made life just too hard for Lions, as their depleted squad lacked the overall energy and desire required to get a result against quality opposition.

With the wind in their favour in the first half, Lions had the balance of play but in truth failed to really test the visiting keeper.

A 91st minute equaliser from Oron Kaiser earned England FC a point against mid-table rivals Inter.

With all other games in the Sports Direct Olim League were called off due to bad weather, England FC hosted Inter Tel Aviv on Saturday night, with both teams coming off the back of a month of good form.

FC Team C's 4-3 defeat at Norstar London Raiders C ensured that Young's troops won the title with a game to spare.

Redbridge B have over-achieved, says Jacobs

Jon Jacobs believes Redbridge Jewish Care B have over-achieved after they were confirmed MGBSFL Division One champions.

Blizzard Storm's 3-2 victory over Norstar London Raiders B ensured RJC won the title with two games to spare. They did not play on Matchday 25 of the seasonbut have already claimed 10 victories from 14 matches.

Leaders North London Raiders took a big step towards a second successive MMFL title with a 2–0 win over Scrabble Harmen.

Strikes from Kevin Lotzof and a penalty from Danny Hodes took NLR 15 points clear of second-placed Waldaf Town, who have four games in hand.

Mark Ratzker (2) helped HMH move up into third spot with a 2–1 win over Chigwell. Glenn Davies replying for the east Londoners.
