Manchester Maccabi won't get ahead of themselves, says Radiven

Maccabi Manchester Yellow are the shock early-season pacesetters in the MJSL.

Anton Radiven’s newly assembled side maintained their 100 per cent record thanks to a 3-2 win at sister club Maccabi Manchester Blue.

The visitors showed their fighting qualities after falling behind to first-half goals from Jake Adshead and player manager Jonny Rose.

The Merseysiders' midfielder netted a deserved late leveller to cancel out James Landes’ opener.

Once again this was a game that should have been over in the first half with the home side creating numerous opportunities, but a mixture of fine goal keeping and poor finishing always gave the away side a chance.


Deadly Dynamo Kiev sink Maccabi Tel Aviv

Maccabi Tel Aviv suffered their second consecutive Champions League defeat after going down 2-0 at home to an efficient Dynamo Kiev on Tuesday night.

Beaten 4-0 by Chelsea on Matchday One, the Israeli champions were looking to put in an improved performance in front of their fans, but two goals at the beginning of each half kept them rooted to the bottom of Group G.

Maccabi Masters review: September 27

Chigwell Athletic finished the weekend top of the Maccabi Masters League Division One on goal difference after hitting HMH for six.

Two more goals from Mark Conway, Daniel Sugarman (2), Ryan Glynne and Jon Swead eased them to a 6-1 victory. Simon Shelley replied for HMH.


MGBSFL Super Soccer Sunday week 4 review
