SOUTH MANCHESTER SPORTS CLUB 1st 3 SAINTS 1

South Manchester battled back from a goal down to defeat Saints.

On a pitch that wasn't made for football, South displayed some good, confident football.

However despite a positive start, South went a goal down after confusion at the back.

A deadly double from Max Kyte lifted Lions A into second after producing a formidable performance against Harmen at Rowley Lane.

The rain kept coming down and on a wet rain soaked pitch, the Lions put in probably their best performance of the season.

Jeff Gotch praised his team after Catford & Bromley Maccabi maintained their excellent record against Lions B, denting thier promotion hopes after a thriller in MGBSFL Division Two.

The rain was plummeting out of the skies as Lions faced Catford away on a 3G pitch, far, far from home.
