League leaders Norstar London Raiders A drew 2-2 against defending champions Hendon in the Premier, while NLR B claimed one of the results of the day at first division table-toppers Camden Park on Matchday 11 of the MGBSFL season.

The HPR boss was angered by the late postponement — the second time the Manchester club have progressed in the competition due to a forfeit.

Rampant Ruislip go goal crazy

Maccabi GB Handball returned to the court for the first time in over a month following their 28-6 London Regional Division Two League defeat to Fulham Hawks.

It was one bird of prey to another as they faced Ruislip Eagles – a team who they had also come across in a pre-season friendly.


Tel Aviv clubs punished by IFA

The Israel FA Disciplinary Court has come down hard on Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Tel Aviv following the abandonment of last week's match when the pitch was invaded.

Both teams have had two points deducted and the match itself will be recorded as a 0-0 draw, with neither side getting any points.

Both teams plan to appeal.


Peter Morrison Trophy round three draw

Although both teams and managers passed the test without incident, and dare I say a touch of class, this week's top quip came from a little lower down the ladder. Yes, that man Jason Stein came up trumps again. He looks certain to have the JC Quote of the Season accolade wrapped up by Chanukah.
