Penalty heartbreak for Team GB in Santiago

Team GB missed out on a medal in the over-45 Football competition at the Pan American Maccabi Games after losing a penalty shoot-out against America.

Having lost 2-1 to America in the round-robin phase, GB matched their opponents with a goal from Laurence Beck ensuring the match would be settled on spot-kicks.

Radus and Yawitch the cream of the crop

TWO young middle-distance runners have been selected as the winners of the 2015 Daniel Sacks Awards for Outstanding Young Athletic achievement.

The Girls’ award winner is 11-year-old Maayan Radus. Coached by Phillip Kissi as part of the City of London School for Girls running group, Radus was undefeated in the five cross-country races she ran as an Under-11.
