Seven’s above! Lee cashes in

A stunning seven-goal salvo from skipper Lee Cash eased North West Neasden A to a 15-1 win over Southgate Harmen B in the second round of the JC Cyril Anekstein Cup.

Further strikes from Ben Forman (3), Daniel Cole, Daniel Levenfiche, Daniel Stanton, TJ Ketterman and Jonny Ellis completed the rout. Mark Engel claimed Harmen’s consolation.

London Maccabi Lions A bowed out of the Sunday FA Cup after going down 3-1 to Stanbridge & Tilsworth. Lions fell behind but Adam Myeroff converted from the penalty spot after Mike Pearson was the victim of a professional foul.

Stanbridge were reduced to 10 men following the incident but pressed on in the second half to claim a deserved win. Fabio Rivieccio (3), Jamie Shaw, Robert Donn and Daniel Cooper eased Glenthorne United A to a 6-0 success over East London Knights in the second round of the Peter Morrison Trophy.

Goals from Tony Plaskow and Josh Green earned Faithfold C a 2-0 win over Temple Fortune B.

Southgate Harmen A leapfrogged London Maccabi Lions C as they beat the Arkley-based team for the second consecutive week to go top of the JC MSFL Division Two.

Lloyd Becker (2), Ben Nassim and Jon Morris were on the mark. James Gold, Jon Steinberg and Ollie Senchal replied. A Sheldon Conrich double helped FC Team B go top of Division Three following a 4-1 win over Hendon United C. David Wexler and Mitch Young finished the job.
Zig Zag claimed their second win of the campaign with Nick Roman, Jason Rich, Daniel Mendoza and Richard Winton on target in the 4-1 win over Pure Orange Function Band. Natie Grossnass replied.
