Neasden draw Oaks in the Morrison

By Danny Caro, September 16, 2009

Cup holders North West Neasden A will start the defence of the Peter Morrison Trophy at home to Oakwood on October 25.

The Jewish FA Cup winners have started the season with a win and a draw. On Sunday, they came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 against title rivals Redbridge Jewish Care A courtesy of goals from Scott Shindler and Lee Cash.

Hendon United A, last season’s losing finalists, also face first division opposition in the shape of newly promoted Red Sea.

Former winners London Maccabi Lions A travel to Division Three title hopefuls UJS Norstar A in a re-run of last year’s tie that saw Lions run out 9-1 winners.
