Goldsmith inspires FC Team

FC Team A displayed a gritty workman-like performance in their second pre-season friendly of the campaign. With up to seven regulars not available the squad was threadbare.

Raiders dominated possession for vast periods of the game however when given the chance FC Team looked equally as dangerous going forward with superb performances by the entire midfield and forward line.

As the game wore on, Raiders were getting increasingly desperate to clinch a goal which there domination should have warranted however the FC Team make-shift back four stood firm and it was skipper for the day, Adam Goldsmith, that broke Raiders hearts when with 20 minutes to go he tidily finished off a move crafted from neat inter-play by Eddie Sternberg and Richard Salmon.
