Performances went from the sublime to the ridiculous on Matchday Three of the JC MSFL season. So many runners, but in the end there could only be 11 riders.

1. DAVID KOSKY (London Maccabi Lions B) - “kept his team in the game against Woodford with some fantastic saves and very brave keeping”

2. CLIVE NATHAN (Redbridge Jewish Care B) - “marshalled by his defence magnificently” against the Cats

3. ADAM KLEIN (North West Neasden A) - Klein finds himself at the centre of a match-fixing storm with most NWN supporters expecting to see messus Cash, White or Fox in TOTW. But rumour has it that several members of the Klein household continued to vote for the romance king after the lines had closed. For the record, Klein claims to have put in “a Leighton Baines-esque performance” with three assists

4. DAN HOWARD (Faithfold A) - on course for JC Player of the Month after another excellent display, this time against the champions

5. TALI NEVIES (Hendon United Sports Club B) - “marshalled the back four superbly and was immense at back to keep last season’s golden boot winner quiet”

6. JONNY BUNT (Norstar B) - “was excellent in an unknown position, first to every ball, won everything in the air, solid on the ball” against Glenthorne B

7. GEORGE FIERSTONE (Brixton Old Boys A) - once described by his manager as “the Jewish Messi,” young George was the heartbeat of the team, took the game to the Lions. Was “outstanding” and “controlled the midfield”. Capped a magical display with a hand in the winner

8. ROB HERSHKORN (Camden Park) - “Cazorla-esque impact for the talented Hershkorn on his debut. Ran the show against Chigwell, curled in a brilliant first before a perfectly weighted ball for Richard Silver to wrap up the points”

9. RICHARD SALMON (FC Team A) - his manager asked for a big performance and the big man delivered BIG STYLE in the LFA Cup. “Three great goals and was on top form”

10. JAMIE KENT (Shirley Park) - led the Faithfold B defence a merry dance, thriving on some quality service

11. ROB BLACKMAN (Brixton Old Boys A) - “put a fantastic effort in up front against the Lions. It was his first game playing as a striker and he fought for every ball until the end and chipped in with the first goal for good measure
