Brady B have made a late attempt to lure London Maccabi Lions A duo Sam Castle and Alex Bowman to the Division Two outfit. Brady B manager Josh Dagul has jetted off abroad to meet with Bowman, Castle and their representatives. Dagul stated: "Although I don't normally like to talk about players from other teams, Sam and Timmy are players I've publicly admired for some time and I would love to have them as part of our squad for our first game on September 9."

Brady B may also have landed their other summer transfer target, Richard Gold. Gold, cousin of Brady B player manager Josh Dagul admitted following his clubs 3-0 defeat to Brady B that he would be interested in joining the club.

Dec Green, possibly the best young keeper in the MSFL, and a strong contender for a place in the Maccabiah squad, is being chased by three Premier League clubs and two First Division clubs, and whilst Lions remain favourite to retain his registration, serious overtures are being made to woo him away from Rowley Lane. When asked for a comment, he coyly replied: "My manager is currently listening to offers. I just need to focus on inclusion in the Maccabiah squad."

Rumour has it Ben Joseph is joining AC Mill Hill. An ACMH source told JC Sport: "Ben has not been the same player since his latest injury and it is believed that he will benefit from the slower pace of the lower leagues."

Norstar have been the prime movers in the transfer market of late - bolstering their ranks with the acquisition of Danny Bloom, Mark Leader and Ben Sheldon plus the experienced JJ Spiro from London Maccabi Lions.

Chigwell Athletic have announced the signing of three new players. Joining recent acquisition Richard Baum are Brad Gayer, Pierce Prince and Dean Ben Yosef.

Brady Maccabi have secured the services of Jason Balsam. This is a shock move from the club that was looking to bring on younger talent, yet opted for an older presence. Balasmwas one of the best right-backs to have played in Maccabi Junior football, although some fans believe this may be a signing just to boost shirt sales. Balsam told JC Sport: "It feels great to put on a football shirt and I feel fit although a little slower than past years." A Brady representative said "his change of pace is alarming." He added: "From slow to very slow."

Temple Fortune A are looking for new players for MSFL Division One. They have booked excellent training facilities at the Middlesex University in September and are a friendly and well run club.

North West Neasden have made a double family approach for brothers Dan and Sim Cohen. Both play in goal, although younger brother Sim plays for London Lions under-18's, while older brother Dan retired at the end of last season to concentrate on refereeing.

Dan, formerly of Montana Boca United and North London Raiders, is understood to have turned down numerous approaches from clubs, but may sign forms for Neasden.

JC Sport has heard however, that Dan may be interested in a potential move to newly formed UJS Norstar 'C', to link up with his good friend, assistant-manager David Domb.

Sim is expected to register for Neasden, although due to Lions commitments, it is not known how regularly he'll play.
