Brady Maccabi A maintained their lead at the top after beating rivals South Mancs 2-1 thanks to goals from Scott Ansher and Mark Wagman, and a string of saves from ‘keeper Adam Meranda in the Maccabi Masters League Division One.

North London Raiders moved into second place on the back of their 3-1 win over Faithfold. Ashley Davidson (2) and Dean Schulberg made the points safe for Raiders despite a first Masters’ goal from Faithfold’s Jonathan Hirshler.

Hendon’s substitutions made all the difference as they beat Ashlodge 2-0 in Division Two. Debutant Ilan Cohen came on to open the scoring with a 25-yard shot, and Ray Selman came off the bench to wrap up the win.

London Maccabi Lions needed to beat Brady B by an improbable nine goals to go top of the table but they went one better as Marc Morris grabbed six and Barry Silkman, Stephen Schindler, Paul Wise and Elliot Most also scored to give them a 10-0 victory.
