The Maccabi Masters League Division One has a familiar look about it after just a couple of weeks, with defending champions Brady Maccabi A installed in their customary position at the helm after a 5-2 demolition of a new-look Glenthorne United A.

Nevertheless, they had goalkeeper Adam Meranda to thank for an early penalty save before goals from Max Radford, Scott Ansher Mark Wagman, Laurence, Laurence Beck and Gideon Barnett gave them the points.

Michael Nathan and Danny Sugarman netted for Glenthorne.

Scrabble recorded their first win in the veterans league with a 5-3 win over Faithfold, with goals coming from Charlie Bernstein (3), Steven Moss and Jeremy Kornhauser.

Faithfold replied with goals from Joel Nathan, Simon Gold and Jason Levy.

A 72nd minute curler into the top left-hand corner from Rob Cohen was enough to give North London Raiders victory against South Mancs.

In Division Two, Clayhall Park Casuals won for the second successive week to go top of the table, leapfrogging Ashlodge after a 2-1 win courtesy of a brace from Brian Deal, including one from the spot.

Ashlodge had Geoff Green to thank for their solitary reply.

London Maccabi Lions bounced back from their defeat to Clayhall with a 3-0 win over Hendon, with Marc Morris netting all three in his first game of the campaign.

EDRS Stonegrove beat Brady B 3-1 with Steve Krieger (2) and Phil Silver scoring for EDRS.

David ‘Tiggy’ Taylor replied for Brady.
