The Maccabi Cricket National Knockout Cup semi-finals take place in London on Sunday. The first sees a repeat of last year's final with holders London Maccabi Vale travelling to Parmiters to take on Belmont & Edgware 1st.

BECC will be looking to kick-start their season after a disappointing start against an LMV side who secured their place with a five-wicket win over BECC's 2nd

Captained by Ashley Connick, BECC welcome back Oli Simons. Connick will also look to the evergreen Neil Myeroff to tie up the LMV batsmen.

Connick said: "They've got a good, young side, but it's a couple of the older heads who we'll need to be wary of. Jonathan Lederman, Jeffrey Permutt and Nigel Rothband are all capable of doing damage."

LMV skipper Jonathan Lederman says that he expects to have "a strong bowling attack at his disposal, and that the bowling of both teams will be key to the game".

The other tie sees high-flying MAL take on Southgate. MAL cruised into the last four with a crushing eight-wicket success over Chiwell & Hainault which featured an unbeaten century from vice-captain Mark Landau.

An outstanding spell of spin bowling from Norman Bean, who claimed six wickets, eased Southgate to a nine-wicket win over Chigwell & Hainault

MAL will start as favourites, but Southgate will be looking to rock the applecart at Old Camdenians.

Landau points to the triumvirate of Beans, and batsman Ashley Smokler as the men to watch out for in Southgate's side.

MAL will be looking for big runs from their powerful batting line up, with Landau and Yoav Lebens in prime form, and a seam attack that looks very dangerous.
