The Highgate boys came back from the dead to win the final in extra time
An extra-time double from Daniel Rose helped HMH come from behind to win the John Rubens Cup.
The Under 16 final at Rowley Lane looked set to go Manchester Maccabi's way as they forged into a 3-1 lead.
But HMH, managed by Richard Morrow and Daniel Polden, mounted a spirited comeback with a late brace from Jono Gaon taking the tie into extra time. Zach Weisz was HMH's other scorer. Two excellent finishes from Rose saw HMH run out 5-3 victors.
Polden said: "While we had some fantastic individual performances, this was a great team performance and the entire squad contributed."
