The Lustigmans

There was an intriguing father-and-son contest in the Henry Swerner MMFL Cup quarter-final involving Faithfold and Norstar. Stuart Lustigman, who at 66 is the oldest player in the league, was up against eldest son, Adam. Goals from Paul Gold, Mitch Klein, Jason Levy, Joel Nathan, Jason Rich, Jonny Mack and Paul Chilton helped Faithfold come from behind to triumph 7-2. Ashley Marks and Brian Deal accounted for Norstar's goals.

Brady Maccabi remain on course for the league and cup double after beating North London Raiders 4-2. Perry Yam (2), Laurence Myers and Mark Wagman were the marksmen for Brady. Ashley Davidson and Richard Sacks replied.

A first-half header from Marc Morris was enough to put London Maccabi Lions through against Hendon Harriers.

Two goals from Gary Adams helped Glenthorne United B regain top spot in Division Two following a 2-1 success over Temple Fortune.

Nicholas Pitch and an own goal steered Clayhall past South Mancs. Simon Davidson replied.
