The two teams occupying first and second in the Night Cricket Cup League will go head to head this Saturday evening in a match which will feature no less than 12 current and past Israeli international cricketers.

The unbeaten Telalivit team, who last week beat the much improved team by 38 Runs with Telalivits 95 proving too much for inHasharon's 57 will be aware of the threat that Yefet Nagavkar who captains the Super Lions Modi'in pose

Herschel Gutman, Telalivit captain will be hoping that Telalivit continue their winning ways and put in another battling display.

Steven Deutsch's, Pommeranz Juice Good Old Boys scored a fabulous 101 run victory over Chopper Harris's Modi'in EasyIsrael with PJGOB's total of 144, far too good for MEI's 43.

After the match Modi'in's Chopper Harris conceded that his team had been "outbatted, outbowled and outfielded by a quality team". He said: “I believe they were trying to make up for England's comprehensive victory in this year's Ashes," Harris said of the heavily Australian influenced PJGOB team. "What we've learned is that practice is a must and we'll be on the top of our game for the next fixture after serious workouts in the nets," he added.

In the final game of the week it was the ever dominant Pearl Wanderers Cricket Club who scored a resounding 94-run victory of the KAT Israemploy Warriors.

Inspired by a superb bowling display by young Alex Lewis, who took three wickets in one over - the second time he has done this in the league this season - the Kat ISRAEMPLOY Warriors team were left in tatters scoring a lowly three runs. David Wiseman, deputising as captain for Anthony Harris and Daniel Hyman, hit the only six of the match to cement PWCC spot at the top of the Plate League.

This week’s fixtures features the derby of all derbies with the KAT Israemploy Warriors coming up against the KAT Israemploy Tigers in a match that will go along way in deciding the fate of both teams this season.

KAT Israemploy Warriors will have another game to play, this time against the Gold Insurance Bet Shemesh Lightning side with Saturday evenings first match between Telalivit and Super Lions Modi'in deciding who will end the week top of the Cup League.
