PRE-SEASON FRIENDLIES

TEMPLE FORTUNE 2 BOCA JEWNIORS 1
A Zack Rich double earned a makeshift Temple Fortune team an encouraging win over Boca at Gosling Sports Centre.

Fortune boss Jonathan Cohen said: "We did very well and I was pleased with the team performance considering everything," he said. "In particular I must thank the two Old Boys – Phil Bloomberg and Graham Meyer – for helping us out. They both did very well; infact, everyone played well and, bearing in mind they beat us 6–0 in May, it was a very good result."

REAL SOSOBAD 3 LOS BLANCOS 1
Real Sosobad came from a goal down to beat first division Blancos. The whites forged ahead on the stroke of half-time, but Real responded with goals from Ashley Stanton and Josh Jacobs either side of a spectacular headed goal from John Lessem.

CHIGWELL ATHLETIC 4 LOUGHTON ORIENT 0 (August 10)
RUSSELL YERSHON was the hat-trick hero as Chigs warmed-up for their first season in the Maccabi Masters League with a big win over local rivals Loughton. Steve Summers put the icing on the cake.

OAKWOOD B 1 REAL SOSOBAD (August 3)
Josh Jacobs earned Real Sosobad a draw against Oakwood B. Jacobs fired home followed good work from Barry Green. Both players later had strikes disallowed for offside.

BOCA JEWNIORS 0 HENDON UNITED SPORTS CLUB C 0
Boca's goalless draw against Hendon C was marred by a serious injury to goalkeeper Ryan Monk who suffered a broken leg while making a save.

Boca and the JC wish Monk a full and speedy recovery.

FAITHFOLD B 9 FAITHFOLD MASTERS 1
A fab four-goal salvo from DAN GORDON inspired Faithfold B to a 9-0 demolition of Faithfold Masters.

HARMEN 2 REAL SOSOBAD 0 (July 27)
Strikes from Sam Castle and Alex Bowman helped Premier Division new boys Harmen overcome league newcomers Real Sosobad at Rowley Lane.

JEWDINESE 3 SPEC FC 2 (July 22)
Strikes from Luke Lewis, Jess Alexander and Josh Buchhardt earned Division Two new boys Jewdinese victory in a five-goal thriller against first division SPEC FC.

NEW DEALS

L'Equipe are pleased to announce the renewed signature of marksman Richard Fogelman. He has put pen to paper and although he is only promising a few games due to the birth of his second child, the club are "confident he can bag us at least half of last years tally".

L'Equipe can now confirm the new signing of attacking midfielder James Mandell. A club spokesman told JC Sport: "He's been out of MSFL for a couple years and is now raring to go for another big season with L’Equipe."

RUMOUR-VILLE

Blizzard Storm fans are in for a real treat next season, with news that Ben Ellis, Oli Henry and Brad Cohen are on the verge of joining, while captain marvel Adam Levene has extended his contract.

Excitement is building at Harmen following reports they have snapped up Bradley Sharp and Danny Cohen extending his stay.

L’Equipe are in for former Brady marksman Mark Smith – currently playing in Watford Friendly League and wants to get back playing for his roots.
