Danny Caro's Div 3 TOTW: February 24

By Danny Caro, February 26, 2014

Players from L'Equipe, Faithfold, Boca and Temple Fortune impressed the JC panel on judges, so here's my Division Three top team from the MGBSFL following Matchday 24.

1. Jamie WARWICK (L’Equipe) - "had a great game against Boca"

2. Gideon CHAIN (L’Equipe) - "another full-bodied performance"

3. David GARSON (Faithfold C) - capped a fine performance with a brilliant free-kick

4. Parys HAMMOND (Boca Jewniors) - nothing got past him in the second half

5. Dave SAWYER (Temple Fortune) - "was again immense in centre midfield and popped up with two goals for us on Sunday, one a bullet header, harder than most players shots"

6. Dovi FEHLER (Boca Jewniors) - "controlled the game in the middle of the park"

7. Dovi VOGEL (Boca Jewniors) - involved in both Boca goals and caused Catford constant problems

8. Dan BREGER (Faithfold C) - produced the kind of performance his manager knew he was capable of

9. Dan GORDON (Faithfold C) - "anything Schnitzelman can do, Flash can do just as well!"

10. Richard FOGELMAN (L’Equipe) - "another phenomenal game up top with another hat-trick and a dead cert for goal of the week with a 35-yard screamer of a free kick sandwiched in between two cool finishes past the keeper. L'Equipe "almost managed to charge an entrance fee from some of the FC Team and Hendon boys on the next pitch to watch fogey - it was billed as "feed the Foge and he will score"

11. Harry MARKS (Jewdinese) - a rock in the centre of midfield being very disciplined and making crucial interceptions in important moments. Performance of the season"

Player: Richard Fogelman (L’Equipe)

Manager: David Garson (Faithfold C)
