Danny Caro's Division One TOTW: February 24

By Danny Caro, February 25, 2014

This week's Division One master-class will take some beating.

1. Steve MURAD (NW Neasden) - "got off the plane at 7am, got to the game and kept the 10 men in the game with some outstanding saves - a fantastic team man"

2. Craig SANDFORD (Chigwell Athletic) - impressed in centre mid for Chigs, but I know he can do a job at RB too!

3. Bradley GAYER (Chigwell Athletic) - got up and down well, with pace, power and energy

4. Paul HIZER (Chigwell Athletic) - caged the Lions with a powerhouse performance

5. James JOSEPH (Los Blancos) - "continued his impressive form at centre back with an assured performance"

6. Zak MCLEOD (Los Blancos) - "first started in a Blancos shirt, getting three assists and one goal"

7. Ben WEINBERG (Southgate Harmen) - "most comfortable when he is hunting for the ball, always happy to receive the ball to feet and seems to beat any player in the air despite being one of the smallest on the pitch. Showed his true class with a well-taken goal"

8. Darren RUSSELL (Los Blancos) - "controlled the game from the middle of the park"

9. Ben HENRY (Southgate Harmen) - "improving with every minute of football he plays, starting to look more and more comfortable on the ball beating players on the wing and in the middle. His youthfulness will lift the team in the latter stages of the season and the Harmen dubious goals panel credited him with their third of the game"

10. Josh NEWMAN (Brady B) - hat-trick hero in the big cup win over Shirley

11. Joel KUTNER (Los Blancos) - stand-in captain led By example, scoring two and setting up another

Player: Bradley Gayer (Chigwell Athletic)
