Danny Caro's Team of the Week: October 27

By Danny Caro, October 29, 2013

Here are the star performers from Matchday 9 of the MGBSFL.

1. RYAN SELSDON (King Crown) - rock solid performance in what gaffer Kadoch described as the "best defensive performance of the season". Didn't put a glove wrong!

2. AVI KORMAN (Hendon Utd SC A) - "an absolutely scintillating display of attacking full back football - as energetic in the 90th minute as he was in the first"

3. ADAM VELLEMAN (Southgate Harmen) - "absolutely different class, didn’t make a mistake at the back or when going forward. Showed his class in tough conditions" against Blancos

4. SEB VANDERMOLEN (Blizzard Storm) - "was chosen to man-mark Ben Zloof up front and did a great job limiting him to chances"

5. JAKE YUDELOWITZ (Norstar London Raiders C) - "kept Fogelman quiet for the most part of the game and looked as composed as ever in a commanding performance"

6. DAVE CLEMENTS (AC Whetstone) - "man of the match was excellent against Faithfold C. A constant threat with pace and power down the right wing. Created multiple chances for his forwards"

7. JOE MEISEL (Jewdinese) - " pulling the strings on the centre of midfield" against Hendon. "Three assists and an all round great performance shifting the ball from left to right with ease"

8. MARTIN SMULOVITCH (Hendon United B) - a tower of strength in the shock win over Brady B

9. HARVEY KAYE (Oakwood A) - An inspired performance and all-round display with three assists in the big cup win over Temple Fortune. It was just a shame his managers weren't there to see it!

10. JAMES JOSEPH (FC Team C) - record signing looks a real bargain after smashing home two more goals in the 3-2 win over promotion rivals Oakwood B

11. STEVE SUMMERS (Chigwell Athletic) - a deadly double in the 5-1 demolition of SPEC FC
