Jon Jacobs was in good voice on and off the pitch after his boys did themselves proud against the defending champions.

WINNER: Jon Jacobs (Redbridge B) - "The boys will learn from this and realise that there is nothing to be afraid of in Jewish football"

------------------------------------------

- Adam Luria (Catford & Bromley) - "As a team we play for each other and we have built a winning mentality, led from the top by Lester Jacobs, but with leaders all through the team"

- David Garbacz (Hendon A) - QUOTE 1 - "I would like to credit Boca - they could easily have walked off and just given up but they kept going in what must have been quite difficult circumstances and showed really good spirit and it was nice that they managed to score"

- David Garbacz (Hendon A) - QUOTE 2 - "I presume we will have tougher assignments in the cup this year but step one was most enjoyable"

- A Woodford spokesman - "Ironically Chigwell were anything but 'athletic' as they tried to keep up with the ever-youthful Mitch Hahn all morning"
