Maccabi Masters review: June 2

Newly-crowned Division One champions Glenthorne United A suffered a 5-3 defeat against runners-up on the final weekend of the Maccabi Masters League season.

Gary Cohen (2), Ash Davidson (2) and Wayne Davidson were the goal men for Raiders who finished a point behind the Thornes. Greg Morris, Jason Levy and Grant Pomeroy replied.

Southgate Harmen also finished on a high note, beating 2012 winners Brady Maccabi A. Paul Stein fired a double for Harmen, with Gideon Barnett replying for Brady.

Double winners London Maccabi Lions cruised home 4-1 against Hendon Harriers, with Laurence Leigh, Danny Schindler, Marc Morris and David Kyte all hitting the target for the Division Two champions. Andy Diamond fired a consolation for the Harriers.
