Danny Caro's Save of the Week; February 3

By Danny Caro, February 7, 2013

Redbridge Jewish Care B young gun Matt Kemp produced an inspired piece of goalkeeping to sway the JC judges for the top save award on Matchday 21 of the JC MSFL season.

- Matt KEMP (Redbridge JC B) - reacted brilliantly to keep out a deflected shot, when going the wrong way. Not only was Matt able to change direction, he got a full hand to it and put it over the bar

- Josh GERTNER (Los Blancos) - with his team trailing 2-1, Gertner pulled off a remarkable penalty save to kickstart the LB comeback. A pivotal moment, as Gertner correctly dived to his right and got a strong hand on a powerful but not superbly placed effort

- Oli COLMANS (Brady A) - having had little to do against Lions A for 90 minutes, was alert to pull off a fine stop to deny TJ Keterman from a free-kick

Adam SIMONS (Neasden B) - saved a penalty from Brady B's James Joseph with the game goalless

- Sam SINGER (Brady B) - a superb save against Neasden B, palming away a shot that seemed destined for the top corner

- David SIMNOCK (NL Raiders A) - pulled off a brave and crucial block to deny Richard Salmon
